ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for an Educators to join our team, and introduce our young students to Montessori learning.
As a Educator, you would be responsible for the constant supervision, safety, and well-being of the students in your classroom. This, along with the responsibility for planning, preparing and implementing the daily Montessori curriculum, as well as facilitating student growth in developmental, academic, and cognitive domains. We are looking for a candidate who can recognize and respond to the needs of each child by using developmentally appropriate teaching and early childhood behavior-management techniques. You would also be responsible for observing and recording relevant information on each child’s progress, on a day-today basis, as well as their overall term progress.
Our ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, and can maintain professional and open communication with students, parents, and all other co-workers. We follow the school calendar, you will have PA Days set aside for professional development training.
Ideally, you would participate fully and consistently as a conscientious team member in caring for the children and in the overall operation of the program and centre. At our school, we emphasize team work by sharing the responsibility to care for our school between all of our staff. This means you would participate in the regular cleaning and maintenance of your classroom, playground clean up, and the school’s storage spaces, and the occasional duties of garbage disposal, dish washing, and staff room cleaning.
This would be a full time position from Monday to Friday.

Milestone Montessori was established in 2015, and was created based on the values very inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori’s pedagogy as it taught independence, cooperation and self regulation, at each child’s unique pace of development. Our teachers go above and beyond with our students and take the time to assist each child with their individual learning goals.
