We are a 4 Keystone Star facility, and our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged, and is committed to childcare and to their professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ year experience in a child care facility
• TB test and current (within 12 months) health assessment
• PA Child Abuse, National Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI fingerprint clearances
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Follow curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices that helps each child reach his/her fullest potential in all areas of development.
• Supervise and interact with children at all times; mealtimes, rest periods, diapering/restroom times, play times, and activity times.
• Provide care for young children, including changing diapers, feeding, and comforting.
• Know all health and emergency policies of the program and implement them if necessary.
• Help with general housekeeping tasks.
• Show initiative in the improvement of early childhood education, the program, and the curriculum by sharing ideas and participating in available training.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Maintain appropriate communication with staff, children, and families at all times. Maintain an open, warm and very professional relationship wit all families.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
