Description Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 A Company Background Investigation, CAC, US Citizenship, and a secret security clearance are required for this position. Travel is 40%. The Tomahawk Weapon System provides surface combatants with long-range, precision-guided, land-attack cruise missile capability. The Theater Mission Processing System (TMPC) provides for Tomahawk mission planning and distribution. The Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control Center (TTWCS) provides for the initialization, preparation, launch, and post-launch control of the missile. This position is to assist with management oversight and program assistance supporting PMA280 Tomahawk In-Service Fleet Support on the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System. Requirements The best candidate will: • Assist the PMA280 TTWCS Fleet Support Representative and provide support to the TTWCS systems engineering processes, as well as support to the TTWCS Post-Development. • Assist the Program Office and ISEA support in areas of expertise, which include system integration, system test, system development, documentation development, procedure development, system analyses, technical assistance, and specific technical knowledge of the weapon system. • Assist with the project management and task-oriented services involved in the execution of work assignments focused on/around fleet support services. • The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to manage and execute work and/or projects through skills and knowledge of the detailed fleet operational environment and tasks. Must demonstrate definitive knowledge of TTWCS with sufficient knowledge of staff-level operations, Surface ships, associated launcher, and external shipboard interfaces utilized by TTWCS to perform Programmatic functions, integration assessment, installation, and ISEA Engineering functions. • Serve as an operational fleet expert for engineering projects associated with all TTWCS systems in development and currently fielded. • Independently plan, organize, direct, and coordinate personnel in the evaluation of TTWCS-related issues affecting performance and operational capability. • Assist with Logistics elements to include support equipment, life cycle support, supply support, packaging, handling & storage, and transportation of equipment and or parts. • The tasks for this position are performed primarily in a remote environment with field assignments to various naval Base Installations, shipyards, overseas assignments, and contractor facilities. The successful candidate may be subject to short notice for travel requirements and to working overtime for prolonged periods outside normal working hours. Physical Job Requirements Tasking will include visiting/inspecting U.S. Navy Ships/vessels. Must be able to climb tall ladders, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and work in adverse environments. Education/Certification Requirements • 15 years minimum as a Senior U.S. Navy Enlisted (CPO and above), CWO, or LDO with a background in an HM&E Rate such as Engineman, Machinist Mate, etc. • 10 years of shipboard experience. • Must possess a secret clearance. • Experience in leading technical teams in maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing. • Tasking will include visiting/inspecting U.S. Navy Ships/vessels. • Must be able to climb tall ladders, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and work in adverse environments. • Communication skills in briefing at all levels of the organization, and be able to work with and foster a strong team environment. • Analytical skills to effectively track, manage, and status multiple technical issues. • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills. • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
