SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking a Tool and Die Maker Apprentice to join our team in Wyomissing, PA. You will be a key member of the manufacturing team by focusing on making dies and tooling to keep production running efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Build, repair, and maintain progressive stamping dies * Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings * Use manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM * Preform die fitting, spotting, timing, and press tryouts * Troubleshooting tooling and part quality issues * Understand metal stamping processes, materials, and tolerances * Follow safety, quality, and preventive maintenance standards * Assist Tool & Die Makers with daily tooling tasks and repairs * Set up and operate shop equipment under supervision * Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area * Document work performed and participated in continuous improvement efforts * Actively participate in on-the-job training and related classroom instruction The Ideal Candidate * High school diploma or GED * Technical school or trade school coursework in Machining, Blueprint reading, CNC programming * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment * Working understanding geometry, trigonometry, and algebra * Ability to work independently, and with engineers and machinists * Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time * Ability to lift 25-40lbs Our employees are the driving force behind our successful and dynamically growing company.
