JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. This role involves designing, fabricating, and repairing tools, dies, and special guiding and holding devices used in manufacturing processes. The Tool and Die Maker will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of production.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD designs.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Experience with CAM programming is preferred.
  • Ability to weld as needed for tool repairs or modifications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various machining processes including lathe operations and stamping press usage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
