Description
Tool and Die Maker   Design and make tools primarily for short run /prototype work.   Set up and trouble shoot, kick presses, 4-slide and punch press tooling.  Precision grinding is required.  Must be a self-starter, willing to work with minimum supervision.  Attention to detail required, along with ability to shoot trouble.   Company Overview: Fotofab has been an innovator in photochemical machining, metal forming, and engineered manufacturing solutions for over half a century. Our main facility in Northwest Chicago houses multiple etching machines and a thoroughly equipped CAE/CAD department. Our second facility, based in Elk Grove Village provides best-in-class tooling, forming, and stamping solutions. This 6,500 square-foot forming facility houses a complete tool and die shop, along with a stamping press and numerous machines to form etched blanks supplied by the Chicago location.   Fotofab is a critical and long-standing member of The Partner Companies (TPC) family.
