Requirements:

• The Tool and Die Maker position is responsible for building and repairing gauges fixtures, tooling, and dies; assembly and testing of complex tooling and dies in production departments
• Use blueprints, sketches, models, or provided specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies, and assemblies
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, by utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Utilize matching equipment and hand tools to filer, grind, adjust, fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, tooling and gauges. Conduct testing of completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; adjust as necessary
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
