Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Tool and Die Maker (Manual Machinist) to join our SAMC team in San Antonio, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

5+ years of experience as a Machinist or Tool Make

• r5+ years of experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machine
• s5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specification
• s5+ years of experience working with precision measuring tool
• sAbility to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workloa

Fabricate, repair, and maintain various tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing proces

• sInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling component
• sOperate manual machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinder
• sUtilize measuring instruments, both in the shop and out on the aircraft, to ensure accuracy and quality of wor
• kCollaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions for tooling need
• sPerform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standard
• sAssist with aircraft structures III work, including assembly, installation, and repair tasks as neede
