Tool Maker – Job Description This position supports daily operations in the Tool Room, focusing on Tool & Die repair. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using a wide range of precision measuring equipment and demonstrate strong technical skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Tool Room activities and Tool & Die maintenance. Build and repair jigs, fixtures, stamping dies, and injection molding dies. Operate and maintain various shop equipment, including: Lathes Milling machines Saws Grinders Hand tools Apply basic shop mathematics, including: Trigonometry Plane and solid geometry Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Preferred Skills: Welding CNC machining EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Qualifications: Completion of an approved apprenticeship program, trade school, college program, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
