JOB SUMMARY: TOOL ASSEMBLER

Seeking a highly skilled professional with 2-3 years of experience meticulously assembling and rigorously testing high-quality pipe preparation tools, in adherence to precise engineering specifications and company protocols, with a strong emphasis on electro, hydraulic, and mechanical expertise.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Profound mechanical knowledge and dexterity are essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Competent operation of hand and power tools with an emphasis on electro, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Sound understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, with hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with inspection instruments, including calipers, verniers, and pi tapes.
  • Capability to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Proficient computer skills for accurate assembly data entry.
  • Preferably possess a high school diploma with a college-related background or equivalent technical training
Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble pipe preparation tools meticulously, following engineering drawings, detailed work instructions
  • Conduct thorough testing of each tool to ensure uncompromising quality and functionality.
  • Expertly pack finished and tested assemblies, applying appropriate labeling and packaging materials with precision.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in selecting and utilizing proper components, prioritizing electro, hydraulic, and mechanical considerations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of components through efficient utilization of the kanban card system.
  • Contribute to inventory and cycle counts with keen attention to detail.
  • Skillfully package assembled tools, adhering to marking and labeling requirements.
  • Support and actively engage in lean manufacturing principles and company FEM initiatives.
  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the use of appropriate safety equipment.
