Job Description The Maintenance/Storeroom Coordinator issues parts & supplies to Maintenance/Production associates while maintaining accurate records/inventories. Additionally, the position will maintain the plant Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and maintenance records. Facilitate and execute the company strategies for MRO management. Perform physical inventory of parts & supplies. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts. Issue parts & supplies to Maintenance and production personnel. Conduct entry in CMMS of stock disbursements. Conduct dispatching of repair & returns. Conduct restocking of bins for goods receipts (parts & supplies). Responsible for improving the part descriptions on existing parts. Add new parts and descriptions for new parts in CMMS. Remove obsolete parts in CMMS. Monitor inventory levels. Report regularly on inventory dollars, including analysis of trends. Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction. Comply with all Larson and Fortune Brands policies and procedures. Perform area housekeeping duties. Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare items for shipment and or communicate with suppliers as required. Maintain accurate equipment and enter work order data in CMMS. Assist Maintenance Manager in the routine maintenance and upkeep of the CMMS. Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications A minimum 6 months experience working in a Storeroom or Inventory position is preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components and parts in order to best support the facility maintenance team. Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills Have the ability to maintain accuracy with little or no direction at times with high attention to detail. Must have outstanding verbal and written skills. Prior work experience with CMMS (eMaintenance Preferred) Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED. Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
