At this time we have an immediate opening for a Tool Crib Site Manager on-site at our customers manufacturing location in the South Paris, ME area. This full-time position requires purchasing, order entry, order expediting, receiving shipments, inventory control and general stock room management. The ideal candidate would be organized, detail oriented, have good follow-thru and have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Establish a daily routine/schedule to maintain database to include inventory of tools, stockroom supplies, shop supplies held in inventory
  • Issue product to customer employees using customer specifications.
  • Receive product into inventory control software daily.
  • Examine auto generation report daily and determine purchasing needs based on usage and customer production forecast.
  • Provide and follow up on quotes to the customer for new product request and projects.
  • Place purchase orders daily in P21 for stock replenishment and one-time request.
  • Examine critical item stock levels daily.
  • Acknowledge purchase orders daily, update system and customer with lead time and expected deliveries.
  • Prepare measurement information relative to stockroom component pricing, inventory levels, inventory turnover and other metrics that may be required.
  • Identify savings opportunities within the tool crib and other customer departments.
  • Coordinate efforts of application specialists for productivity improvements with the Butler account manager.
  • Work with the customer to identify critical items based on production forecast.
  • Analyze order point’s and order qty’s on an ongoing basis to; minimize “on hand” inventory, minimize “shut downs”, and minimize premium freight charges.
  • Package and ship products as needed.
  • Respond to pricing discrepancies with Accounts Payable within 24 hours.
  • Maintain the stockroom in the manner befitting a professional organization.
  • Add new items to inventory based on customer specifications and create labels.
  • Scan paperwork into inventory control system to maintain records.
  • Update and maintain site specific training materials, and passwords
  • Attend customer meetings to review metrics and collaborate projects for the tool crib.
