Join our aerospace manufacturing team and take ownership of tooling from concept to production. We’re looking for a Tool Designer / Machinist who can design, build, and refine custom tooling, fixtures, and dies to support precision manufacturing in a regulated (AS9100) environment. If you enjoy combining CAD design with hands-on machining, this role offers direct impact on production performance and product quality. What You’ll Do * Design tooling, fixtures, and dies using CAD (SolidWorks, KeyCreator, or similar) * Create drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for manufacturing * Collaborate with engineering and production to solve manufacturability challenges * Improve tooling to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings * Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and precision calculations * Build, modify, and repair tooling using manual/CNC mills, lathes, and grinders * Perform tool assembly, fit-up, and validation for production readiness * Maintain traceability and compliance with aerospace standards What We’re Looking For * 3+ years in tool design, tool & die, or machining * 2+ years of CAD experience (SolidWorks, KeyCreator, Kubotek, etc.) * Experience with aerospace tooling (fixtures, dies, tube assemblies preferred) * Strong knowledge of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining * Hands-on ability to fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot tooling * Experience in AS9100 or regulated manufacturing environments (preferred) * Detail-oriented, problem-solver with a production-first mindset Why Work Here: * Work on precision aerospace components * Own projects from design → build → validation * Collaborative, skilled team environment * Costco membership * Clean, professional shop environment * Comprehensive medical, dental, vision * Paid sick time and paid vacation * 401k No agencies or third-party recruiters, please. 6:00am - 2:30pm
