TOOL AND DIE MAKER – FASTENER MANUFACTURING

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team! If you have experience in precision machining, toolmaking, and working with fasteners, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing company while advancing your career.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker, preferably in a fastener manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machining, metal stamping, and die maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Knowledge of heat treatment and material properties is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures used in fastener manufacturing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to fabricate and modify tooling.
  • Operate manual machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDMs, to produce high-precision components.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all tools and dies meet exact specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tools and dies to minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tooling performance and efficiency.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tooling to extend lifespan and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool modifications, repairs, and inventory.
