POSITION OVERVIEW

Join a leading manufacturer of precision metal stampings with over 100 years of experience. This temp-to-hire role requires 6–7+ years of tool & die experience, especially with semi-permanent and progressive dies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–7+ years experience in tool & die making
  • Experience with short-run stamping and progressive dies
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Must provide or purchase own hand tools
  • Background check required; no drug test

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Build, repair, and maintain complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
  • Operate CNC lathes and CAD/KEY systems
  • Work from blueprints and sketches to develop tooling
  • Support multi-station progressive and compound die builds

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build, modify, and maintain stamping dies and tooling
  • Operate mills, grinders, drill presses, and other machinery
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure production readiness
  • Follow ISO procedures and maintain safety standards

  • Operate Wire EDM and CNC mills, program with CAD/CAM software
