    We’re looking for an experienced Tool & Die Manager to lead this talented team of toolmakers and machinists. In this critical role, you’ll oversee the entire Tool & Die department, managing everything from custom tool design to fabrication, repair, and workflow optimization. You’ll be at the heart of our production success — ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled toolmakers and machinists.
  • Oversee the design, build, repair, and maintenance of precision tooling and dies for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to support new product development and optimize existing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling performance, safety, and cost reduction.
  • Manage tooling inventory, budgets, scheduling, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and other industry standards while maintaining a safe and efficient toolroom.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in tool and die fabrication, with 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Deep knowledge of CNC and manual machining, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, tolerances, and tooling strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, quality control, and process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in stamping, large-scale tooling, and high-precision component manufacturing.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.
