TOOL AND DIE REPAIR – 3RD SHIFT Join our team in Tool and Die Repair and put your skills to work maintaining and repairing casting and trim dies that keep our production running strong. This skilled trade position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality die-cast products for our customers by ensuring dies are properly maintained, repaired, and ready for production. What You’ll Do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on casting and trim dies in the toolroom and on the production floor. Tear down, clean, refurbish, and reassemble dies to keep them in top condition. Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to machine replacement parts and verify they meet specifications. Use stoning, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools to repair pins, cavities, and dies. Perform welding (TIG) and sandblasting for repair and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate, organized work practices to ensure quality and efficiency. Work safely and follow all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Willing to complete Journeyman Certification, CNC Apprenticeship Certification if not yet certified. At least 1 year of production in a similar manufacturing environment or machine shop related experience. Related experience to inclued pneumatics, hydraulics, hoist/crane controls. Experience in die casting and/or punch forming is strongly preferred. Strong problem-solving, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
