CH Power Tools Ltd is an industrial power tool sales and repair specialist, offering onsite support to large sectors within the industry. Established over 25 years ago, with the head office based at Doncaster, you will be joining a friendly professional family business.
Your placement will be based at our head office in Doncaster. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, servicing of high-end industrial power tools, Sundstrum equipment and tool collection/delivery to customer site. Working 4 hours overtime on Saturday mornings is expected.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Tool Repair Technician to join our team. The Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing faults in a variety of equipment and tooling.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience as a power tool repair engineer, tool fit or hire technician or similar role, is preferred
  • Proficient in diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to all makes and models of all power tools
  • Good mechanical knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent time management

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
