Description Job Summary: The Store / Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for operating and maintaining a tool crib, including general repair and maintenance of tools and machinery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receives, stores, and issues inventory stock, tools, and machine tool fixtures. Maintains records of inventory stock and tools issued to employees Maintain tool crib inventory accuracy. Takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed Reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed Perform equipment PMs, must be agile with work schedule to accommodate trade shop needs. Actively implements lean initiatives by identifying and providing recommendations on areas for improvement, effectively applying lean concepts and tools in work area. Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains a clean and orderly work area. On occasions, will need to interact or take direction from trade supervisors and or leads. Performs other related responsibilities as requested. Purchasing experience Experience with computer Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Language Ability: Ability to communicate effectively in English Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job are medium/heavy in nature. Frequent standing, balancing, walking, reaching above shoulder or out in front, manual dexterity, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, seeing, and hearing, as needed.
