JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. What You Will Do with JT4 The Tool Room Monitor is responsible for the control and management of all tools and equipment that are used for aircraft/aerospace equipment maintenance, or which enter the flightline or aerospace equipment maintenance industrial areas per Air Force policy. These are FOD critical areas and the positive accounting of this equipment is paramount to the safety and viability of Air Force personnel, aircraft and equipment. Functions and Duties * Track, maintain, and inventory all tools and equipment utilized by the local squadron * Establish and maintain Consolidated Tool Kits (CTK) as needed, as well as Locally Manufactured Tools * Maintain Mobile Telemetry carts, performing minor repairs and coordinating larger inspections of carriage equipment * Serve as the Vehicle Control Officer (VCO) for the local fleet of vehicles. Perform inspections and minor vehicle maintenance. Coordinate for regular vehicle maintenance per manufacture maintenance schedule. Ensure all vehicles comply with Air Force FOD and QA rules and regulations * Order parts and equipment as needed to maintain tool inventory. Assist with overflow orders from Logistics section * Provide support as the building maintenance POC, coordinating with Facilities personnel to resolve identified issues with the squadron facility * Coordinate with Engineers, Technicians, and Project Leads to provide appropriate support and training * Perform other job-related duties, as required Desired Experience * Familiarity with AFI 21-101 and Air Force Tool Room procedures * Familiarity with hand tools and basic vehicle maintenance * Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs, to include Microsoft products, such as Outlook, Word and Excel REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE The incumbent must have vocational/technical training beyond high school from an academic institution or military equivalent training and at least 7 years of job-related experience. The incumbent must have excellent communications and analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and perform work under established deadlines. This position may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. The Incumbent must have a valid, current state driver's license. Must obtain and maintain a security clearance with special access. Must be a U.S. citizen.   SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
