Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Ensure all timelines are met. · Follow up daily on project timing to delivery. · Keep the facility clean and organized. · Ensure all costs per quote are met and not exceeded. · Create daily machine schedules for all machines. · Create daily job schedules per project. · Assure every project is checked before shipment to meet all costumer quality expectation. · Report any quality or timing issues to management (Director of Engineering). · Ensure the tool room area and machines are clean and organized all the time, all the team need to take part in this, assign areas to each team member and follow up weekly. This includes the entire shop, all machines and the engineering office and conference room. · Leads the people on job tasks, needs, and directions. · Must own their own tools. · Build and repair plastic injection, diecast and Foam molds to customers' standards. · Operate all tool shop manual machines / Milling Lathe, Surface grinders, Bridgeport mills, radio arm drill and vertical mill. · Tig and Mig welding. · Ability to use various hand tools required to perform task of spotting and fitting components, benching and polishing. · Plan and execute assigned Mold Making, Major PMs, Engineering changes and ability to report timing and progress to supervisor. · Perform complex mold builds and mold repairs. · Receive, understand, and follow written and oral instructions from supervisor. · Complete all paperwork associated with this position. · Comply to all company policies and procedures including attendance, work safety and ISO. · Required personal protection equipment, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, and Hard Hat. · Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklift trucks. (Training and certification Provided) · Ability to communicate respectfully with management and co-workers in production meetings to review the status of current jobs. · Time conscientious on hours quoted and delivery dates. · The desire to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic fast-paced work environment. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications · Work experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing environment. · Education: High School Diploma · Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft office skills. · Organization skills: excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed. · Cross-functional skills: ability to work well cross-functionally with the IDTs; provides excellent internal and external customer service. · Communication skills: excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information. · Problem solving skills: good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions PREFERRED SKILLS · Candidates must possess a high level of professionalism, a bright attitude, and a clear ability to effectively communicate between all levels of an organization. · Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers. · Ability to take a range of tasks and prioritize based on time, customer needs and business needs.
