Pay Information Starting pay $33.17 - $38.32 per hour Job Purpose The main purpose of a Tool Shop Associate is to perform processes per the prescribed methods and process, laid out in the Operation Standard with safety and quality first in mind. Associate is expected to perform machine shop; tooling preset and regrind activities. Key Accountabilities Perform Tool Shop process per the Operation Standard Clean, organize and put in place at beginning and end of shift Welding Grinding Manual mill and lathe Computer numerical control Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications: General Tooling Training Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred Desired Skills: Read and understand blueprints Ability to use micrometers and calipers, etc. Machine shop experience Effective time management Other Job-Specific Skills: Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision Understand all aspects of the job Willingness to learn and perform multiple processes Good communication skills Working Conditions Some overtime may be required to support quality or delivery issue May request small amount of travel for certain training What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
