Support internal customers in machining processes and tooling solutions. Advise production teams on tool selection, cutting parameters and machining strategies. Plan, coordinate and evaluate tool tests and trials. Analyze tool performance and conduct tool life evaluations. Act as an interface between Production, Quality, Procurement and NC Programming teams. Create and maintain technical documentation and tooling databases. Prepare technical specifications and requirements for supplier tenders. Communicate with tooling suppliers regarding technical solutions, performance improvements and complaints. Support continuous improvement activities related to machining and production processes. What we’re looking for: Completed technical education as: Industrial Mechanic Toolmaker Machining Technician Manufacturing Technician Industrial Technician Or similar technical qualification. Experience in: Machining and manufacturing environments. Cutting tools and tooling technologies. Production or industrial engineering support. Reading technical drawings. Tool testing and process optimization. Experience working with SAP, MS Office,CAD/CAM systems. Nice to have: Aerospace manufacturing experience. CNC machining experience. Knowledge of tool management systems. Experience with Airbus production environments. Knowledge of CDM tools. Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
