Company profile : https://www.segulatechnologies.com/en/ Job Description Objectives of the function: To design, develop, validate, and improve production tooling, jigs, and fixtures through robust engineering methods, ensuring manufacturing performance, ergonomics, safety, and cost efficiency. To reverse-engineer existing tools where documentation is missing or incomplete, and generate complete 3D/2D datasets for manufacturing. Mission & Task : Design and develop tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges, lifting devices, and assembly aids. Conduct criticality assessment for jigs & fixtures. Perform reverse engineering of existing tooling: measurements, 3D scanning interpretation, redesign, and documentation. Produce high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6 and/or SolidWorks. Conduct tolerance analyses, GD&T application, and functional studies. Support tooling fabrication, commissioning, and shop-floor validation. Perform tooling functional trials and capability checks. Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage tooling projects (planning, cost, supplier interface). Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic requirements. Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Kaizen, SMED). Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, routing sheets, and validation reports. Strong mechanical design capability High proficiency in CATIA and/or SolidWorks Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, welding) Reverse engineering know-how (measurement, scan data interpretation) Understanding of GD&T, ISO standards, and technical drawing rules Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Shop-floor practicality and hands-on approach Ability to manage multiple tooling projects simultaneously Good communication and teamwork abilities Qualifications 2/3 years Higher Education Diploma Mechanical Engineering Technician (Advantageous) 4/5 years Higher Education Diploma BEng / BTech in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Preferred)
