We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tooling Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of tooling operations, including design, development, maintenance, and optimization of tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or journeyperson; and minimum of 5 years of industrial automation maintenance experience, including some supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, and manufacturing processes
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Familiarity with Crain systems and tooling lifecycle management
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools

Lead the tooling department, managing a team of toolmakers and engineers.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets performance and safety standards.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend tool life.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues.
Maintain documentation related to tooling specifications, maintenance records, and process improvements.
Responsible for life cycle of torque tooling i.e. cleco, atlas copco and estics.
