POSITION OVERVIEW

Cyient is seeking a Tooling Team Lead to oversee the maintenance, tracking, and management of tooling used in the production and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of military and commercial jet engines at our Jupiter, FL facility. This role requires both technical expertise in tooling operations and leadership skills to manage and drive team performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all tooling remains in proper working condition to support engine assembly and disassembly operations.
• Coordinate, review, disposition, and track tooling used in production and MRO.
• Conduct visual inspections to assess tool condition and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain accurate tool inventory records, perform audits, and document transactions using SAP P10 and other tracking tools.
• Manage broken tool processing, induction of new tooling, and implement FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention measures on the assembly floor.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, motivate, and drive the Cyient team to achieve Performance Plus goals.
• Allocate workloads, train associates, and ensure efficient task execution.
• Monitor and track budgets, on-time delivery, turnbacks, and other quality metrics.
• Participate in internal and customer meetings, providing updates and quoting Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
• Review and approve overtime requests, ensuring accurate and timely submission of timesheets.
• US Citizenship required due to ITAR restrictions

  Pay: $30.00 - $34.50 per hour
