Tooling Technician Plastics / Injection Molding (m/f/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg
As a tooling technician you are responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, servicing and repair work on injection molds. Your area of operation is the injection molding shop.

What You’ll Do

  • You clean and repair tools in compliance with the schedule,
  • You carry out repairs directly in the injection molding machine,
  • You carry out professional fitting of spare parts for the tools,
  • You eliminate leaks on the mold side and hydraulic leaks,
  • You prepare production tools for the set-up process,
  • You maintain spare parts lists and ensure that parts are set up and in stock before production starts,
  • You identify and implement systems to achieve consistent injection molding quality improvement,
  • You will assist in the development of FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for production tooling to identify risks and develop appropriate control plans,
  • You will work and support the set-up of injection molding machine tools with a 100t crane.

What You’ll Bring

  • You have completed vocational training as a tool mechanic (m/f/d), preferably in mold technology or have a comparable qualification,
  • You have several years of experience in the manufacture, maintenance, modification or repair of injection molds,
  • You have additional certificates such as a welding certificate,
  • You bring a hands-on mentality, as well as the willingness to work shifts in a 4-shift system,
  • You have a good command of common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • You have good English and/or German skills.
