Your Role at Husqvarna UK
As a Toolmaker working shifts, you will play a key role the maintenance and modification of injection mould tooling. Working closely with production teams you will ensure our injection moulding tools meet the correct specifications to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes. This enables us to manufacture high-quality, market leading robotics for our customers.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Responsibility for responding to moulding breakdowns in a busy production environment
• Undertaking the preventative maintenance and servicing of mould tools
• Diagnosing mould faults and carrying out repairs
• Working with production teams to effectively prioritise breakdowns
• Carrying out precision machining including EDM, milling , turning and grinding
• Ensuring the preparation of new mould tooling for production
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping (5S)
• Adhering to health and safety expectations and standards at all times

What We’re Looking for

• Significant experience of working with injection moulding tooling
• Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship including ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Proven machining and welding skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
