Neu-Servo are a market leading automation repair company specialising in repairing and servicing Industrial AC/DC Motors, Pumps, Gearboxes and Servo motors to some of the worlds leading manufacturing companies.
Part of our unique repair process includes the reclamation of worn mechanical parts.
To facilitate the companies growth Neu-Servo requires a Toolmaker /Machinist to join our growing team.
You will possess extensive skill and experience in:
- Manual Lathe Machining, Turning and Milling and relevant qualifications in Manual Milling, Manual Turning and Manual Machining and as well as experience and proven track record in working in a machine shop.
- MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
- Reclamation of worn parts either by back engineering or working from a drawing.
- Ability to work and adhere to technical drawings.
- Demonstrate ability to use calibrated measurement equipment such as Vernier’s, Callipers, DTIs, Micrometres, Gauges etc
- Experience of working with fine tolerances
- Ability to identify correct material selection
- Use of measuring equipment, basic mathematical skills to work out required dimensions.
- Familiar with machining techniques including Manual milling, turning and drilling and Safe working practice knowledge for those types of operation.
- Use of appropriate cutting tools for material and machine type.
- Operating and setting up of various milling machines, turning/lathes machines and boring machines.
- Use of accurate measuring tools and devices.
- Ability to work to up to date Health and Safety standards.
- Ability to work within the guidelines of the company quality management system.
- Experiencing on machinery maintenance.
Desired practice:
- Capability to Metal Spray in powdered metal.
- Experience and knowledge in basic Industrial Motor fitting.
- Understanding of Industrial Bearing tolerances.
Pay negotiable dependant on experience
Overtime available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
