As the Toolroom Assistant, you’ll be a key person to ensure our manufacturing processes are precise, ensuring our parts, that are used in critical industries like aerospace, automotive, construction and energy, meet demanding specifications. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a high-speed, high-detailed environment where every part you assist in making makes a difference. A few things that You’ll Do... Inspect, inventory and maintain all tooling Collect and distribute necessary tooling to departments, timely Operate all toolroom machinery, including and EDM machine Ensure the toolroom is properly maintained and all items are accounted for Inspect parts for quality accuracy using precision measuring tools. Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Utilize a forklift to move material to and from the workstation. Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes. Use computer software to maintain the toolroom and it's purposes And more… Why Join Us? Requirements What We’re Looking For Must be 18, or older High school diploma, or equivalent required At least 1 year in manufacturing is required, with a preference of machine operation experience Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as fixing machinery, climbing and driving forktrucks. Strong mathematical skill is a must. The ability to periodically lift 75 lbs. is must Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
