This critical role involves designing, analyzing, and maintaining competitive compensation strategies aligned with SAP’s goals and Total Target Cash structures, while ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. This role also leads the salary budgeting for the Annual Compensation Planning Cycle and manages related policies, such as promotions and off-cycle adjustments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and update Total Target Cash structures and ranges, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand compensation needs and challenges, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain job evaluation processes to ensure consistency and fairness in pay practices.
  • Propose salary budgets for the Annual Compensation Planning Cycle, incorporating both external market benchmarks and internal perspectives.
  • Prepare and present compensation reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations affecting compensation.
  • Support the development and implementation of compensation policies and guidelines.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend improvements.
