Description Position Summary: The Total Rewards & HRIS Administrator is responsible for the administration and optimization of the organization’s employee benefits programs and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role manages the full life cycle of benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, loan repayment programs, and other total rewards offerings within a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. The Total Rewards & HRIS Administrator ensures compliance, data integrity, and positive employee experience. This role also partners closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts by presenting and communicating the organization’s comprehensive total rewards package to prospective candidates. Job Responsibilities: Administer all employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and loan repayment programs. Manage benefits across both fully insured and self-insured plans, coordinating with brokers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. Oversee the full cycle of benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, life events, open enrollment, and employee separations. Lead and manage the annual open enrollment process, including employee education, system set up, and vendor coordination. Maintain and distribute benefits communications including Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), benefit guides, and employee education materials. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution. Serve as the primary HRIS system administrator (Paylocity), maintaining employee data accuracy, system configurations, workflows, and reporting. Perform regular system audits and data reconciliation to ensure accuracy between HRIS, payroll, and benefits carriers. Generate HR analytics and reporting related to benefits utilization, workforce trends, and compliance requirements. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment efforts by presenting the organization’s total rewards offerings. Assist with candidate presentations, recruitment events, and onboarding sessions, clearly communicating benefits and compensation structures. Help position the organization’s total rewards strategy as a key recruitment and retention tool. Requirements Skills / Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, UKG, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of benefits compliance and employment regulations. Prior experience working in healthcare, non-profit, or FQHC settings are strongly preferred. Experience administering benefits in both fully insured and self-funded/self-insured environments strongly preferred. Education / Experience Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration preferred or equivalent experience
