EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/DESIGNATIONS:

  • University degree
  • Working towards a financial planning designation (CFP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an advisory role within the Financial Services industry

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Financial Planning is a key service provided to clients of Scotia Wealth Management. The primary purpose of the Total Wealth Planning Associate is to provide financial planning support to the Senior Total Wealth Planners in the GTA West market.

2. RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPONENT OF THE FINANCIAL PLANNING PROCESS, IN ADDITION TO INPUTTING PLANS:

  • Save all client files in a back-up network drive for security and audit purposes.
  • File all documentation used to complete a plan appropriately and retain for 7 years.
  • Order stationary as required for planning – plan covers, binders through head office etc.
  • Where necessary work with the Team Wealth Manager to arrange meetings or provide updates on the HNW offering platform
