Job Title: Touch Up Painter Employee Type: Full Time, Hourly Reports to: Processing Manager  Job Location: Wichita, KS, USA Shift Hours:  1st Shift; 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00, dependent upon relative experience Experience: 1+ year experience preferred with application of primer, fuel cell and top coat Job Duties: * Must be able to thoroughly follow instructions and be attentive to details * Touch up primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface types * Mask and de-mask parts as required * Mix paints per manufactures specs * Prep parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaning * Complete work flow documentation thoroughly and properly * Inspect results of paint applied * Inspection: Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being painted  * Clean and repair paint equipment and keep work area organized * Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times * Keep work area clean * Assist other departments as necessary  Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent required * Must be 18 years of age * Must have 1+ year experience with application of primer, fuel cell and top coat, preferred * Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred * Must be self-motivated and produce quality work * Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills * Must be self-motivated and produce quality work * Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required  * Team player and willing to learn new skills Working Conditions: * Some overtime may be required * Ability to regularly and frequently lift 25 pounds * Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
