Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tournament Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all sports tournaments and events comply with relevant regulations and standards, both locally and internationally. Interpret and implement FIFA Stadium Requirements, AFC Guidelines (safety, broadcast, hospitality, sustainability, and accessibility). Develop and maintain a FIFA/AFC Compliance Register Monitor all engineering and construction packages for compliance with tournament requirements and escalate non-conformities. Ensure long-lead items critical for compliance are identified and tracked. Support technical interface management between architectural, structural and MEP. Facilitate coordination meetings to close compliance gaps and manage documentation . Conduct site inspections to verify physical works align with approved compliant designs. Track and report on construction progress of FIFA-critical zones (e.g., field of play, player zones, broadcast areas, hospitality suites). Support Stadium Operational Readiness testing. Support periodic reporting to higher management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field 12 years of experience in sports compliance or related field Proven experience working on FIFA, AFC Stadiums delivery and familiarity with FIFA Stadium Guidelines. Strong knowledge of sports tournament regulations and compliance standards Familiarity with sports governance structures and international sports regulations Proficiency in compliance management software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with tournament operations and management Understanding of the Saudi Arabian sports landscape and regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) preferred Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
