You’ll oversee the planning, content, delivery and team that brings our farm story to life – from horticulture and history to our inclusive employment model.
    Working as part of the Hospitality & Tourism leadership team, you’ll champion storytelling, operational excellence and guest satisfaction while collaborating closely with peers across hospitality, marketing, events & functions.

ABOUT US

Summerland Farm, one of Australia’s leading social enterprises and a business of Aruma Services, is seeking an experienced and Retail Lead. You will lead the strategy, performance and evolution of a diverse retail portfolio, including our Farm Shop, Cafe, Nursery and online store. You’ll work as part of the Hospitality & Tourism leadership team, with direct influence over buying, merchandising, staffing and the customer journey across all channels. You’ll have input into strategic planning and work closely with peers across hospitality, visitor experience and marketing Summerland Farm - The Heart of the Hinterland

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hospitality & Tourism Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead, inspire and develop a diverse team of around 10 staff, including casuals, juniors and supported employees, building a high-performing and inclusive culture, with a formal induction and orientation process
  • Assist in design and delivery of meaningful and engaging customer experiences that reflect the farm’s story, values and social mission
  • Help position Summerland Farm as a must-visit Northern Rivers destination.
