You will communicate with dispatchers, respond to accidents or breakdowns, safely secure vehicles, and transport them to their destinations. Key Responsibilities: Safely secure disabled vehicles using straps, chains, winches, steering locks, and other devices, including using a tow mate for lights Communicate effectively with advocates and demonstrate basic automotive knowledge Perform minor repairs on-site, such as tire changes, part reconnections, or jumpstarts Complete required paperwork and collect payment via credit card or cash Follow MNDOT policies and procedures Qualifications Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent Pass DOT physical and drug screen Pass background check Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Prior towing experience is a plus but not required Automotive repair experience is a bonus Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay with opportunities for bonuses Health, vision, dental, and life insurance PTO (location-specific) 401k with company match Product and service discounts Unlimited car wash Join Bobby & Steve’s Auto World and drive your career forward while making a difference for our customers every day!
