Description

Roadway Towing is looking to hire a Full-Time wrecker/deck driver. Experience is preferred but not necessary, we will train the right applicant. Must have a professional attitude with high customer service standards. Wreckmaster training will be provided as available. If you are interested in joining our professional towing and recovery team, please email your resume and current driver abstract to us.
Pay is based on commission. jobs that are fulfilled.
Full time: five days a week, two days off.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving communications from the company dispatcher.
  • Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
  • Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem.
  • Performing roadside vehicle diagnostics.
  • Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires, and unlocking locked vehicles.
  • Suggesting a course of action.
  • Loading and securing a damaged vehicle to the truck.
  • Towing the vehicle to an authorized service station or destination.
  • Working alongside police and fire departments in a cooperative and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and provide clean driver abstract.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Classes 1, 3 and 5 with air and heavy endorsements is an asset.
  • Must have a professional attitude with high customer service standards.
