JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate towing equipment safely and efficiently. Applicant should have available references to speak too. As well applicants MUST Live in the City of Colwood, Langford or View Royal BC. With proof of address and ability to legally park a tow truck on site of residence. This is needed for contract requirements and required response times.

SKILLS

• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients in various situations.
• Mechanical knowledge is an asset and the understanding of vehicle systems.
• Experience in automotive repair is a plus, enhancing the ability to assist customers effectively.
• Valid British Columbia Driver License Class 1-3 or 5 Required
• Wrecker Knowledge
• Deck Truck Knowledge
• Medium Duty Wrecker Knowledge
• Knowledge of Industrial Equipment

• Respond promptly to calls for towing services and roadside assistance.
• Safely operate tow trucks and other recovery vehicles to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure that all towing equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during stressful situations.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including details of the vehicle being towed and the location of pickup and drop-off.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely service delivery.
