TOWER CRANE DRIVER

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tower Crane Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating tower cranes to lift and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller card
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of lifting operations and safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environmen

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate tower crane to lift, move, and position materials and equipment.
• Conduct daily crane inspections and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Work closely with signalers and riggers to execute lifts safely and accurately.
• Monitor load weights and weather conditions to prevent hazards.
• Maintain communication with site supervisors and ground crew.
• Keep accurate logs of operations, inspections, and maintenance.
• Adhere to all company and regulatory safety protocols and procedures.

SLINGER-SIGNALLER RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Key Responsibilities:

• Slinging and signalling duties in line with site lifting plans
• Directing crane operations and ensuring loads are lifted and placed safely
• Checking lifting gear and equipment for defects before use
• Communicating effectively with crane operators and ground staff
• Ensuring health and safety compliance on site at all times
• Reporting any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors
