Description Job Summary: As a Tower Foreman at Advanced Underground Solutions (AUS), you play a critical leadership role in the safe and efficient execution of tower erection, civil telecom construction, and line & antenna installation projects. This position oversees field crews working on monopoles, lattice towers, and rooftop structures supporting wireless, broadcast, and public safety communication systems. The Tower Foreman combines hands-on technical expertise with crew supervision and safety leadership to ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule, and in full compliance with OSHA, company, and client standards. This role is ideal for an experienced telecom professional who excels in the field, leads by example, and prioritizes safety, quality, and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute tower erection activities including stacking, guying, anchor setting, and mounting components. Direct installation of antennas, coax, radios, and grounding systems in accordance with engineering and RF safety standards. Inspect and verify top-side and ground-level installations for quality, safety, and specification compliance. Oversee trenching, conduit placement, and concrete work related to telecom ground infrastructure. Supervise, mentor, and assign work to Tower Technicians, Top Hands, and Civil Laborers. Conduct daily safety tailgates and enforce OSHA and AUS safety policies on all job sites. Maintain accurate field documentation including daily reports, time logs, as-builts, and photo documentation. Serve as the primary field contact for Project Managers, clients, vendors, and internal departments. Ensure job sites, vehicles, trailers, and equipment are organized, clean, and properly maintained. Requirements Qualifications Proven experience as a Tower Foreman or senior tower technician. Strong knowledge of tower erection, rigging, fall protection, and telecom installations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct crews and enforce safety standards. Must have and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to travel as required and perform physically demanding field work. Preferred Skills OSHA certification(s) and telecom safety training. Experience working on monopoles, lattice towers, and rooftop structures. Knowledge of RF safety standards and grounding requirements. Experience with civil telecom construction and site development. Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a field environment.
