Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) has an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our Customer Incentive Strategy team. This 24-month contract role reports directly to the Manager, Toyota Customer Incentive Strategy and offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of one of Canada’s most recognized automotive brands.
As a member of the Incentives team, you’ll help oversee a substantial budget and play a key role in developing monthly incentive strategies that directly influence national sales performance. You’ll gain deep exposure to the Canadian automotive market and TCI’s financial ecosystem, while presenting insights and recommendations to senior executives.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Assist in the development of short, mid, and long-term budgets
  • Analyze and communicate the financial impact of monthly incentive programs
  • Prepare and present budget results to executives with clarity and precision
  • Collaborate on the proposal and refinement of monthly incentive strategy
  • Work hand-in-hand with Accounting & Finance and Toyota Credit Canada Inc.

Incentive Budget Analysis and Management

  • Present monthly incentive budgets and insights to TCI executives
  • Reconcile program costs against budget and investigate variances
  • Assist in the development of monthly vehicle incentive proposals with clear financial impact assessment
  • Maintain spreadsheets to track budgets across each series and month
  • Provide forward-looking insights and historical comparisons to guide incentive planning
  • Develop visualizations and ad-hoc reports to simplify intricate data for stakeholders
  • Monitor conquest/loyalty programs to assess performance and impact
  • Assist in the administration of reconciling payments to dealers
  • Lead the preparation and submission of annual and quarterly budget updates

Other Budgets

  • Oversee Field Sales Operations budget, including Dealership Incentives
  • Maintain budget for TCUV & Fleet Operations specifically fleet incentives & volume bonus estimate

Liaise with Finance & Accounting

  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure alignment of timelines, updates to budgets, and business assumptions
  • Review monthly sales results and identify on-going contribution margin opportunities
  • Work with Internal Control to ensure SOx compliance
  • Accountable for month end & year end accrual process

What You’ll Bring:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
  • 5-years business experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent analysis and organization
  • Knowledge of automotive financial operations an asset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
