What We Offer: Paid PTO time off 401k retirement plans with generous company match Medical insurance HSA and FSA plans Dental care Vision coverage Short- and long-term disability Life insurance Critical illness insurance Hospital indemnity insurance Accident insurance Grief counseling Living will preparation Generous employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services Requirements Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on Toyota material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections according to Toyota service standards Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and parts documentation in Toyota's computer systems Provide professional on-site service at customer facilities and communicate repair recommendations clearly Order parts, maintain service vehicle inventory, and track parts usage for accurate billing Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and ensure equipment meets safety standards before release Maintain service vehicle, tools, and diagnostic equipment in proper working condition Stay current with Toyota products and technologies through required training and certification programs Manage daily service schedule and prioritize calls efficiently to meet customer needs Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required Technical school certification in automotive technology or related field preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience servicing and repairing material handling equipment or heavy machinery Previous experience with Toyota forklifts or industrial equipment highly preferred Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Forklift operator certification preferred Toyota MDT certifications (or ability to obtain within specified timeframe) Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computerized diagnostic software Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Basic computer skills for service reports and Toyota's service management software Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly Capable of standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and industrial environments Personal Attributes: Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Professional appearance and demeanor Possess a driver's license with a clean driving record South Dayton Toyota is a drug-free workplace Thank you for your interest in South Dayton Toyota.
