POSITION: TRACK & FIELD VARSITY HEAD COACH REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/HS Principal SEASON: SY2025-2026 The Track & Field Head Coach organizes tryouts, leads practice sessions, and supervises student athletes before, during, and after games, ensuring adherence to MIAA and school athletic rules. They ensure all athletes have current medical physicals and teach sport fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The coach maintains equipment and uniforms and stays in close communication with the Athletic Director. Preferred candidates have prior experience as a player or coach and are school employees. Stipend Details * Position/Activity: Track & Field Head Coach * Stipend Amount: $3,000 (gross, pre-tax) * Stipend Period: January 05, 2026 through end of athletic season * Payment Schedule: Paid in one installment on 05/29/2026 ($3,100) * Funding Source (if applicable): General Fund This stipend is a flat-rate amount and not based on hourly work unless otherwise required by applicable law or the terms of a specific grant. ---------------------------------------- MTRS ELIGIBILITY: BASED ON INDIVIDUAL’S MTRS ELIGIBILITY Disclaimer Regarding Stipend Pay and MTRS Eligibility In the context of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System (MTRS), certain stipends may be considered part of your “regular compensation” and therefore may be creditable toward your retirement benefits.
