Job Summary Al Marwan Machinery Rentals & Sales is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Tracking Equipment Coordinator to manage and monitor the movement and location of heavy machinery using GPS tracking systems. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking of equipment, maintaining asset visibility, supporting maintenance scheduling, and protecting company assets from misuse, loss, or unauthorized movement. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment tracking, asset management systems, and coordination with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and efficient utilization. Key Responsibilities The key duties and responsibilities of the Tracking Equipment Coordinator include, but are not limited to: Monitor and manage the movement and real-time location of heavy equipment using GPS tracking systems Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of equipment location, usage, and availability Maintain updated records of all equipment within the asset management system Coordinate with operations teams to ensure equipment is available as per project or operational requirements Identify and report unauthorized movement, idle equipment, or potential asset misuse Protect company assets by ensuring proper monitoring and tracking controls are followed Follow up with the maintenance team to ensure scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance of equipment Maintain logs and reports on equipment utilization, movement history, and downtime Assist in tracking equipment transfers between sites, yards, and projects Support management with reports related to asset tracking and equipment availability Ensure compliance with company asset control and monitoring procedures Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred) 2–4 years of experience in equipment tracking, asset monitoring, or heavy machinery operations Experience working with GPS tracking systems and asset management software Strong knowledge of equipment movement monitoring and reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to monitor multiple assets and locations simultaneously Experience in construction, equipment rental, or heavy machinery industry is an advantage
