We’re currently looking for a motivated Labourer to join our Regional Assets Track team based at our Innisfail depot. This is a permanent role offering stability, variety, and the chance to work in one of Queensland’s most scenic regions. As part of the Innisfail Track team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the rail network spanning from Cardwell to Babinda, including the picturesque Kuranda line.
As a Trackworker you will be responsible for performing heavy manual labour duties including replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance tasks.
This position is constantly in the field so you must be able to work in challenging weather conditions and high temperatures.

In this role you will:

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
• Perform outdoor labouring duties throughout the region (including flood repair and other emergency work)
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
