Salary: £30,785.23 (39 hours per week)
Location: Tonbridge
Landscape Services is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Tractor Driver to join our dedicated Grounds Maintenance team. This is a key role, supporting a range of sites by operating tractors and mounted implements to ensure high standards of service delivery.
We are looking for someone with solid operational experience in tractor driving, a strong understanding of health and safety practices, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team. The role offers a great opportunity to work outdoors, take ownership of equipment, and contribute to maintaining professional, high-quality landscapes for our clients.
A current, clean driving licence and a full DBS check (provided by the Company) are required for this role.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Experience in operating tractors and mounted implements
  • Demonstrable understanding of machinery maintenance and health & safety
  • Experience in grounds maintenance operations (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload, including administrative tasks
  • Comfortable with lone working and flexible work environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • PA1/PA6 certification (desirable)
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent (desirable)
Responsibilities
  • Operate tractors and mounted equipment to complete grounds maintenance tasks to a high standard
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to manufacturer specifications, ensuring it is always safe and fit for use
  • Plan and request materials and resources, ensuring compliance with all chemical usage legislation
  • Complete relevant paperwork, site inspections, health and safety checks and vehicle documentation
  • Organise and deliver works efficiently, considering site-specific conditions and safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment, reporting any incidents or near misses
  • Provide excellent customer service on site and represent Landscape Services professionally
  • Respond to seasonal or emergency works such as snow clearance and flooding as needed
  • Use company IT systems to log daily activity and reporting
