Description We Match Talent with Opportunity in a Professional Fleet Maintenance Environment. Tractor/Trailer Mechanic will repair and maintain Nationwide Freight Equipment Repairs and services Semi-Trucks and Trailers Troubleshoots issues or problems with vehicles and machinery as necessary to make repairs. Maintains a clean and safe repair shop. Tracks inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance. Maintains repair log for vehicles and equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read repair manuals for various types of vehicles and equipment. Excellent mechanical repair skills. Ability to follow instructions. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS: High school diploma or GED with one to three years of related technical experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training required.
