Job Description: Position Summary The Trade Compliance Contractor will support NextPower’s duty reporting execution by building project-level Excel tables/reports and managing supporting import documentation (including CBP 7501s). This role covers key tasks typically performed by Trade Compliance Analysts, with an emphasis on data accuracy, completeness, and documentation readiness. Key Responsibilities Duty reporting tables and project reporting Generate and maintain Excel reports/tables for assigned duty reporting projects (project summary tables and related reporting outputs). Organize, label, and store project reporting outputs in the designated shared/project folder structure. Documentation collection and management (7501s) Gather required U.S. CBP 7501s (Customs entry forms) for assigned projects and place them in the project’s dedicated folder for processing. Coordinate redaction workflow with helper resources (assign files, track status, confirm completeness) and perform re-check/QC of redacted 7501s before marking them ready. Quality and controls Perform reconciliation and cross-checks between project tables and underlying documentation to ensure accuracy and internal consistency. Maintain audit-ready documentation practices: version control, naming discipline, and clear handoffs.
