Fremantle Ports refreshed 2027 Strategic Plan marks an exciting new chapter for one of Australia’s most successful ports. Building on decades of expertise, we’re setting a bold vision for the future — and we need an experienced, values-driven Manager Procurement to join us to help make it happen. Working within the Kwinana Bulk Terminal (KBT) Redevelopment Project team, this major project is a rare opportunity with a location in the greater Perth metropolitan area, project stability and longevity, and an ability to have impact in a project set to significantly increase WA marine trade capability.  The projected completion date for the project is end 2032. Role Highlights * Lead the development and integration of long‑term trade, commercial and operational strategies to ensure Fremantle Ports’ major projects are future‑ready and aligned with corporate objectives. * Own and drive the full operational readiness and commissioning lifecycle, ensuring seamless transition of assets, customers and trade activities into the redeveloped KBT facility. * Shape pricing strategies, commercial models and trade plans while embedding customer, operational and commercial requirements into every stage of project design and delivery.   Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Stakeholder Engagement * Build trusted relationships across internal teams, executives and external partners.   Project Delivery * Coordinate activities, track milestones and support delivery across multiple strategic workstreams.   Project Controls * Maintain accurate records, dashboards and reporting to ensure visibility and accountability.   People Leadership * Influence, guide and support teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes. *   Continuous Improvement * Enhance systems, processes and reporting tools to strengthen program performance. Corporate * Operate within a structured, highly regulated environment with strong governance and accountability.   What Makes You a Great Fit Through collaborative, accountable and respectful leadership, and with an emphasis on governance, probity and market engagement, you will excel at ensuring commercial outcomes align with project cost, schedule and risk objectives.    You’ll also bring:     * 5+ years’ experience in customer facing and commercial roles focusing on customer engagement and trade including proven relationships with customers and interface points.  * 5 + years' experience in and understanding of the operation of bulk materials handling and port operations. * Demonstrated experience with facilities in handling key import and export materials (e.g. clinker, silica and fertilisers). * Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with the ability to lead a high performing team.  * Experience in preparing cost estimates. * Experience in the preparation of business cases and project justifications. * Experience negotiating vendor contracts. * Ability to influence and gain buy-in from executive sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers. * Strong commercial acumen, particularly in delivering long term value for money through project and contract management. * Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), including the ability to explain project and contract management related matters to business leaders. * Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project. * Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities * Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure, by prioritising fluctuating and competing workloads.  * Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and quality control.    What We Offer Join Fremantle Ports and be part of a proud organisation with a rich history and culture that makes a significant contribution to the WA economy.
